Stay away from this location! My husband and I are planning to move down here and we ate at this location twice in one week since it was near the hotel we stayed at and both experiences were not good. I've had better at other Bob Evans locations around the country. First time: Had to wait a good bit to be seated because whoever was supposed to be the host/hostess was not at their station to do their job. One of the waitresses kept calling for whoever was supposed to be doing the seating and like I said earlier, it took a bit of time before the person showed up. The waitress was nice but she got my husband's soup order wrong but no biggie. My husband ate it. But then I noticed that the couple that got seated behind us apparently also had the same problem we did where they had to wait a while to be seated. Also I ordered the Potato-crusted flounder, at least that's what I think it was and it just wasn't that good. Neither was the macaroni and cheese. My mom has made way better and I've had way better at other restaurants. This was when I started to think that Bob Evans was a place that was known more for their breakfasts/soups/salads/burgers than dinner. But overall I just was not impressed with the place. Then the second time, I thought maybe we just went on a bad night. Nope, this time was worse. We went for lunch and the food was way worse this time. I ordered the potato chip nachos, something I've had at the Ocala, FL location. In Ocala, this stuff was great. I loved it and that's why I ordered it again. However this time though, there were ingredients missing that was advertised on the menu and what was also on the dish that I had in Ocala. Didn't like that at all. My chicken salad was good but it's kinda hard to mess up a salad. The banana bread was good but again that's something that's hard to mess up since Bob Evans is known for their bakery items. But the nachos were disappointing and that's when I realized that it was more than likely that they don't care about how they make the food here compared to what I've had at other locations. The nachos and the flounder I had were really just not good and that pretty much sums up this place. I feel they've got bad management and I also noticed that this location never was busy compared to the other locations. I wonder why. Plus my husband didn't like the fact that our waitress, while nice, never bothered to refill his drink. His take on the place: he felt that the older retirees that ate there were given preference compared to "younger customers." He noticed that the waiters/waitress seemed more nicer and attentive to them. This was all very disappointing to me since we do not have any Bob Evans in the state I'm moving from but I am grateful I won't have to go to this one again since I found out there will be other locations near where I am moving to in Florida. If you want the real Bob Evans, stay away from here. The food/service just isn't what it should be.

It's a sad day for breakfast! Service was good, place was nice and clean, food was just awful. Not really even edible. Got the simple 2 eggs, 2 sausage, hash browns, and blueberry crepe. The hash browns were full of uncooked flour, couldn't eat more than a bite, nasty. The eggs were under done, which happens allot of places. The crepes were inedible, just not good at all, couldn't eat more than 2 bites. Just go somewhere else.

Came here on a whim as we were traveling by. I've been to a couple of these establishments in other states and figured we couldn't go wrong. Glad we did. When you first enter, the facility is very clean and nicely setup. You can tell this place seems new. Upon entering it feels very inviting and self explanatory as far as getting a seat. We were promptly seated and then given our booth. I liked the menu. Since we were here for breakfast, we only browsed the breakfast items. I don't know if all the menus are the same but they must've revamped their menu. There were a lot of new things I had never seen and really liked. From vegetarian omelette's to the full blown carnivore diet. I had the Santa fe style omelette while my parents had a vegetarian omelette and a cornmush (that's what it says) breakfast along with hashbrowns and extra sausages on the side. Time for food to get to us was very minimal and for a breakfast appetizer they gave us both banana and pumpkin spices slices of bread. Holy moly... that bread was fantastic! If you don't agree to try any of these, you're missing out! Overall, you have great tasting food, good service, and all a fair price. You can't go wrong! Food Taste: 4 Overall Service: 4 Value of food to cost: 4 Facility: 4 Repeat customer: yes

I went to this location recently and it was exactly as Ashley U stated. I had almost the exact same problems. I was embarrassed to treat my family to a dinner out where we were seated but ignored despite asking on two occasions for a waitress. We appeared to inhabit the orphaned table from whence no help should arrive. When one staff person did agree to take our order, things dissolved from there. It took ten to fifteen minutes for anything to occur. She never refilled drinks, got our order wrong, overcharged us and generally helped other tables and would leave us waving for help, including the bill to get the heck out of there. I spoke with the manager who said she would take care of it but nothing improved. I contacted corporate and after two days am still waiting though after reading what others have said, I'm not holding out much hope. (When I contacted another restaurant chain about how great their staff person was, their office got back to me on the same day. Makes me wonder if Bob Evans corporate is really all that concerned at any level of service from the top down.)
